The Hungarian School Woking is a not-for-profit organisation, run entirely by Hungarian teachers who volunteer their free time to provide help and support to the families in their undertaking of nurturing bilingual children from birth. The social, emotional and educational support that is available for these families during the sessions are invaluable and help them preserving their mother tongue and cultural origin in their new living environment.
Since 2011 the school has offered various activities for children of any age throughout the year, such as mother-and-baby club, story reading, singing, learning Hungarian nursery rhymes, playing, Hungarian folk-games, hand crafting, exploring our environment and celebrating Hungarian traditions. Our school sessions are held every second and fourth Saturday afternoon from 2pm till 5pm.
