The MOSOLY Hungarian School London is a weekend school established over 10 years ago. The sessions are held at St. John Church in New Malden every second Saturday morning. They create a fun, friendly and caring environment, where children can learn about Hungarian language, culture, traditions and values while playing, singing, dancing, performing and being creative together.
They currently have 75 member families and teach 110 children in 6 different groups from babies to early teens. All groups are led by qualified and experienced teachers following an age group relevant curriculum. On each teaching day, they offer two 45-minute classes and various clubs before and after the timetabled classes. Children can get involved in music, drama, folk dance and craft activities. During the classes parents can stay and chat in the lobby, where the buffet is open all day offering Hungarian delicacies and lunch.
Community building, supporting the member families and organising cultural programmes are also important aspects of their activities. Parents, teachers and organisers all contribute voluntarily and work together in harmony to create unforgettable memories for the next generation.
