'Revolutionary' flash mobs | 15 March

The Hungarian Revolution of 1848 united a nation against oppression and sparked a heroic War of Independence. It all started on the ides of March 170 years ago, so to mark one of the most victorious days of Hungarian history, on 15 March we will bring some of the main events of the Revolution to the streets of London with the help of poetry, music and performances.

Alec Bennie will be performing as poet Sándor Petőfi, accompanied by musicians of the Folktone Band and dancers of the Csillagszeműek Anglia dance ensemble.
