GLOBAL BARTÓK FLASHMOB

We are inviting you to take part in the Global Bartók Flashmob movement that is a grandiose initiative to commemorate Hungarian composer Béla Bartók's remarkable oeuvre around the world. It will takes place simultaneously in multiple locations, worldwide on the same day. Groups and individuals of amateurs, semi-professionals and professional artists will perform a piece of music - a folk song, a classical piece or reflections - in public.

To experience the shared love for music and to hear our wonderful Hungarian artists playing and singing on the streets including Tamás Balogh jazz piano artists and Elizabeth Sillo opera singer, join us by South Kensington Station on Saturday, 26th September from 2pm.*

This programme commemorating Béla Bartók was realised in association with the Bartok Cultural Society (Bartók Kulturális Baráti Társaság) and the National Federation of Hungarians in England (MAOSZ).
